Karnataka Congress leader B.K. Hariprasad urges voter‑list awareness on SIR

Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president B.K. Hariprasad said the party is deploying volunteers in all districts and taluks to inform citizens about the Special Incremental Revision (SIR) of voter lists, aiming to prevent anyone being denied voting rights. He stressed that a form must be filled between June 30 and July 29 to record political status. "हम एसआईआर को लेकर लोगों को जागरूक कर रहे हैं," he told reporters.

Hariprasad accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of trying to strip the poor of voting rights and alleged manipulation of voter lists in Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and Bihar. He also criticised alleged irregularities in the Ram temple donation fund, urging the central government to investigate.
