Karnataka High Court rejects Darshan's plea in Renukaswamy murder case

The Karnataka High Court has rejected a petition filed by actor Darshan seeking to intervene in the legal process regarding the approver status of Pradosh, the 14th accused in the Renukaswamy murder case.

Pradosh had approached the trial court requesting to be considered an approver (mafi sakshi) in exchange for leniency. Darshan had challenged the lower court's decision to allow this process without hearing the objections of co-accused. However, the High Court bench, led by Justice M. Nagaprasanna, ruled that co-accused individuals do not have the legal right to intervene or argue against another accused person seeking approver status.

In response to the legal setbacks, Darshan's wife, Vijayalakshmi, shared a post on social media expressing her reliance on divine intervention, stating that ‘God knows enough’ regarding their situation.
