Karnataka Minister Satish Jarkiholi Calls for Belagavi Representation Ahead of Cabinet Expansion
Karnataka state minister Satish Jarkiholi said a cabinet expansion is expected soon and urged that the large Belagavi district receive three ministerial posts, noting no direct requests have been made. He declined to comment on reports that senior Congress leader BK Hariprasad might be inducted, saying the party high command will decide. Jarkiholi reaffirmed support for the chief minister’s leadership through the 2028 elections and said discussions on the Ahinda coalition need not be overstated. He added that the milk‑price issue should be addressed by the relevant minister, that the SIR process is proceeding smoothly, and that a theft of a Ram Mandir hundi is under investigation. He also dismissed recent RSS statements as confidential.
