Karnobat railway station evacuated due to gas leak
A propane-butane gas leak from a railway tanker prompted the evacuation of the Karnobat railway station in Bulgaria. The incident involved a freight train stopped approximately 700 meters from the station, a location noted to be a significant distance from residential buildings.
Authorities reported that the leak was minor and originated from one of the tanker's valves. Firefighters and police responded to the scene to secure the area. A specialized two-person technical team traveled from Varna to resolve the issue. As of the latest reports, there were no indications of dangerous concentrations or harmful emissions in the air.
