Karol G launches global 'Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour' stadium tour in Chicago
Colombian superstar Karol G kicked off her Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour stadium tour on July 24, 2026 at Soldier Field in Chicago. The nearly three‑hour show featured a 27‑song setlist—including the debut of the new single “Matadora”—and guest appearances by Elena Rose, Becky G and Greeicy on select dates.
The tour, promoted by Live Nation, will span more than 60 cities across four continents through mid‑2027, with upcoming dates in major U.S. venues such as SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, MetLife Stadium in New Jersey and Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, followed by stops in Latin America and Europe (Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Spain, England, Italy, among others). The tour supports Karol G’s latest album Tropicoqueta, which debuted at No. 1 on the Top Latin Albums chart and No. 3 on the Billboard 200.
During the Chicago concert, Karol G surprised a newlywed couple who had asked for a “honeymoon show” by offering them a trip to Paris to attend her future concert there, a moment that quickly went viral on social media. Ticket demand for the tour exceeded two million, prompting additional dates.
The production featured elaborate stage designs, costume ensembles, fireworks and a large troupe of dancers, reinforcing Karol G’s status as a leading figure in Latin urban music.
