Karol G sets U.S. record for highest-grossing female Latin artist tour

Colombian singer Karol G has set a new record for the highest-grossing tour by a female Latin artist in the United States with her ‘Viajando por el mundo, Tropitour’. According to data from Touring Data, the artist accumulated approximately $160 million in revenue during the first 17 dates of her North American leg, which began on July 24, 2026, at Soldier Field in Chicago.

This achievement surpasses her previous record of $138 million from the ‘Mañana será bonito Tour’. Key highlights of the tour include two sold-out performances at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, which drew over 103,000 spectators and generated $25.3 million. Notably, her September 18 concert at the same venue earned $12.9 million, marking the highest single-concert revenue for a female Latin artist in the U.S.

Other significant stops include the Sun Bowl in El Paso, which generated $13.3 million from nearly 76,000 tickets, and the Alamodome in San Antonio, which saw over 49,000 attendees. The U.S. leg is expected to consist of 21 dates, with total revenue projections potentially exceeding $200 million before the tour continues internationally.
