Karol G’s new album debuts at number one on Top Latin Albums chart

Karol G’s sixth studio album, ‘No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto’, has debuted at number one on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart. The release ends the long-standing reign of Bad Bunny’s ‘Debí Tirar Más Fotos’, which had previously held the top position for 77 nonconsecutive weeks.

The album earned 50,000 equivalent album units in the United States during its tracking week, driven largely by 49.5 million official on-demand streams. In addition to topping the Top Latin Albums chart, the project reached number one on the Top Latin Pop Albums chart and number eight on the all-genre Billboard 200.

This marks Karol G’s fifth number one on the Top Latin Albums chart. The album’s aesthetic is described as a departure from her previous work, ‘Tropicoquetta’, moving from a maximalist, tropical style to a more somber, introspective, and blue-hued visual and musical direction.
