Karol Jakubowski receives Podlaskie Voivodeship Honorary Badge

Karol Jakubowski has been awarded the Honorary Badge of the Podlaskie Voivodeship. The distinction was presented on August 31 by Marshal Łukasz Prokorym.

Jakubowski, a teacher, coach, and sports enthusiast, was recognized for his contributions to the development and promotion of physical culture, his coaching work, and his efforts in documenting the history of sports in the Podlaskie region. He has authored three books detailing the sporting identity of North-Eastern Poland, covering historical periods such as 1924–2024 and 1973–2023.
