Karol Nawrocki attends Presidential Harvest Festival in Tryńcza

President Karol Nawrocki and First Lady Marta Nawrocka attended the Presidential Harvest Festival in Tryńcza, Podkarpacie. During the event, the President expressed his gratitude to farmers, breeders, and beekeepers for their hard work. He pledged to serve as a “guardian and advocate for the Polish countryside,” noting that the rural community is the “heart of Poland.”

Nawrocki addressed various challenges facing agricultural holdings, including droughts, heavy rainfall, high fuel and fertilizer costs, and pressure from non-EU agricultural products. He emphasized that the rural population acts as a guardian of national values and civil society.

On the journey to the festivities, the presidential couple stopped to meet citizens holding a banner with the slogan “First Poland. First Poles.” Additionally, the event drew political scrutiny; MEP Michał Kobosko questioned the President's focus on festivities during a period of heightened security concerns following drone strikes near the Ukrainian border.
