Karoline Leavitt returns to White House duties after maternity leave
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, 28, resumed her role last week after a maternity leave that began in May when she gave birth to her second child, Viviana. She posted an Instagram story that showed a morning walk with her two children, highlighting the return to family life alongside her job.
In a video shared on Instagram, Leavitt joked that she is “always watching” fellow staffers, showing a framed photo of herself in a "power pose" in her office. The clip was posted ahead of her first press briefing since returning.
During that briefing, she faced pointed questions from reporters about President Donald Trump's recent speech and announced that the rescheduled White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner will be attended by Trump, marking the event’s return after it was halted by an earlier security incident.
