Karpacz Economic Forum to host 6,000 global participants

The 35th Karpacz Economic Forum is set to begin on September 8, hosting over 6,000 participants from more than 60 countries. The event will feature a diverse program of over 500 sessions covering economics, politics, and media ethics.

Key speakers include American geopolitician Hal Brands, a professor at Johns Hopkins University, who will discuss his work regarding the century of Eurasia. Brands will analyze how modern technological revolutions and the rivalry between Western powers and regimes in China, Russia, and Iran are reshaping global geopolitics.

Additionally, the forum will host a panel titled ‘Witness to Chaos’ featuring three-time World Press Photo winner Mads Nissen. The discussion will focus on the ethics and realities of war correspondence and the role of media in conflict zones. The event will also include the presentation of the ‘SGH and Karpacz Economic Forum 2025 Report’ regarding the economy of Poland and Central-Eastern Europe.
