Karpathos: Danish man arrested for indecent exposure on beach

A 34-year-old Danish national was arrested on the island of Karpathos after allegedly committing indecent acts on a beach near the General Hospital in the Pigadia area. The incident occurred on Sunday, August 10, 2026, around noon.

Two women, a mother and daughter, reported that the man approached them completely naked and engaged in sexual acts in their presence. Following the report, local police located and apprehended the suspect within two hours.

The man was detained for approximately two hours before being released under the verbal order of the Prosecutor of Rhodes. Legal proceedings against the individual are expected to continue.
