Karpathos: Two minor earthquakes recorded north of Olympus

Two minor seismic tremors occurred in the maritime area north of Karpathos, Greece, within a three-minute interval.

The first earthquake, measuring 2.9 on the Richter scale, was recorded at 12:38. The second tremor, measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale, followed at 12:41. Both events had an estimated focal depth of 10 kilometers. The first epicenter was located 27 kilometers north-northeast of Olympus, while the second was situated 31 kilometers north of Olympus.
