Karposh Municipality announces scholarships for young athletes

Karposh Municipality has announced a public call for scholarships aimed at supporting talented young athletes for the 2026/2027 school year. The program is specifically designed for residents of the municipality who will be in the 8th or 9th grade.

To qualify, candidates must have achieved individual sporting success between September 1, 2025, and August 31, 2026, with results verified by a national sports federation. The scholarship program features two main categories:

- The first category offers 3,500 denars per month for national champions in individual competitions, individuals who have achieved national records or specific titles (such as best player or top scorer), and members of the Macedonian national team who have participated in at least one official match.

- The second category provides 3,000 denars per month for athletes who have secured second place in official national individual competitions.

The scholarships are intended to be paid over an eight-month period during the school year to encourage continued athletic development.
