Antakya: Father and daughter found dead in home

A father and his daughter were found dead in their home in the Sofular neighborhood of Antakya, Hatay, after neighbors reported a strong odor emanating from the residence.

Emergency responders, including police, fire, and medical teams, forced entry into the locked house and discovered the bodies of 54-year-old Mustafa Kural and his 18-year-old daughter, Havva Büşra Kural. The pair had reportedly not been seen for approximately five days.

Initial investigations revealed no visible wounds on either body. Authorities are investigating the possibility of poisoning, and samples have been collected from the scene for toxicology testing. The daughter was noted to have psychological health issues, and the family were tenants in the property. The bodies have been transferred to the Hatay Forensic Medicine Institute for autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
