Kars officials hold security summit for Kafkas University students

Kars Governor Ziya Polat chaired a provincial commission meeting at Kafkas University to discuss security measures for the upcoming academic year. The meeting aimed to ensure a peaceful and safe environment for students residing in the region.

Attendees included Kars Mayor Prof. Dr. Ötüken Senger, Kafkas University Rector Prof. Dr. Hüsnü Kapu, and various institutional representatives. Discussions focused on security protocols around the university campus, student dormitories, and the routes between them. Governor Polat emphasized the importance of inter-institutional coordination, stating that students should be treated as guests of the city and a trust from their families.
