The Kars Provincial Coordination Board met in July under the chairmanship of Deputy Governor Şeyma Aktaş Semiz to review ongoing public investments. Officials reported 315 projects across nine sectors—education, health, transport, agriculture, energy, culture, tourism and infrastructure—totaling 69 billion 868 million 455 thousand 520 TL.
Of these, nine projects are completed, 188 are under construction, 37 are in the tender phase and 80 are scheduled to start by 2026; one project has been cancelled. The board emphasized the importance of coordinated use of public resources and timely execution to support Kars' social and economic development.
