Kars State Theatre and Caucasus Stage to be established in Kars

Work has officially begun to establish the Kars State Theatre and create the Caucasus Stage in Kars, Turkey. Tamer Karadağlı, General Director of State Theatres, announced the initiative during a visit to the city.

Karadağlı stated that the project, which had been discussed with local officials three years ago, is now being turned into reality. He described the establishment of the theatre in his ancestral homeland as a significant personal and professional milestone.

Kars Governor Ziya Polat noted the city's growing social, cultural, and tourism potential, expressing confidence that the Caucasus Stage will be a fitting addition to the region. AK Party Kars Deputy Adem Çalkın also characterized the announcement as a historic day for the city.
