Kartal: Missing father Sezai Acar found dead

The body of 39-year-old Sezai Acar was discovered in a grassy area in the Yunus neighborhood of Kartal, Istanbul. A passerby alerted police after noticing a strong odor in the area.

Acar, a father of two, had been missing since July 31. He had been released from prison on leave with seven months remaining on his sentence. His personal belongings, including his wallet, phone, and house keys, were reportedly found on his person.

Acar's father, Muharrem Acar, has called for a thorough investigation to determine whether his son died of natural causes or was murdered. He noted that Sezai had no known enemies and had been acting normally during his time at home. The body has been sent to the Forensic Medicine Institute for autopsy before being buried in Düzce.
