Kartik Aaryan begins filming ‘Captain India’ in London

Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has commenced filming for his upcoming aviation drama, ‘Captain India’, in London. The project, directed by Shimit Amin, is inspired by a real-life historic evacuation mission where Aaryan will portray a pilot tasked with rescuing citizens from a war-torn country.

Aaryan shared glimpses of the production on social media, including a first look of himself in military uniform and images of the shooting script. The actor’s journey from Mumbai to London marks the start of a production schedule expected to conclude by the end of October. The film is produced by T-Series, Baweja Studios, and Dopamine Studios, with SB Films handling production.

This project follows Aaryan’s recent success with ‘Chandu Champion’, for which he received a National Film Award. The film is currently slated for a theatrical release on August 13, 2027.
