Karting Club de Guayaquil tournament funds water project

The second round of the Provincial Karting Tournament in Guayaquil has integrated a charitable mission to support the residents of the Chapineros community in the rural sector of Daule. Proposed by pilot Santiago Saab and supported by the Karting Club de Guayaquil, a portion of the funds raised during the event will be donated to the Gotas de Vida foundation.

Led by Valentina Saab and Andrea Ortega, the foundation will use the resources to install water filtration systems in Chapineros to improve access to potable water. Henry Taleb, lifetime president of the Karting Club de Guayaquil, noted the organization's history of social initiatives.

On the competitive side, the event saw increased participation. Winners included Tico Ramia in the master category, Matías Ayala in mini, Marlon Vaquero in junior, Nicolás Peribonio in senior, and Samantha Cóndor in micro.
