Karuizawa food tour features actor UTA on variety show

Actor UTA will make his variety show location filming debut on the television program ‘Kaere Monday Mitke-tai!!’. Joining the comedy duo Sandwichman, former figure skater Narumi Takahashi, and the duo Benishoga, UTA will travel through Karuizawa, Nagano Prefecture.

The episode features a ‘1-100 journey’ theme, where the cast explores the culinary landscape of Karuizawa by visiting both establishments founded within the last year and historic shops with over 100 years of history. The group will sample various local delicacies, including specialty cream puffs, ice cream sandwiches, and traditional soba noodles.

During the broadcast, UTA is expected to share personal anecdotes regarding his family, including stories about his father, Masahiro Motoki, and his grandfather, Yuya Uchida. He will also discuss his background as a former basketball player and his experiences in the modeling industry.
