Karşıyaka Municipality provides newborn gift packages to families

Karşıyaka Municipality is continuing its ‘Hoş Geldin Bebek’ (Welcome Baby) project, managed by the Directorate of Women and Family Services. Since the beginning of 2026, the initiative has reached 250 families by providing gift packages containing essential newborn items such as baby bags, onesies, wet wipes, and baby shampoo.

Mayor Yıldız Ünsal stated that the project aims to support families during the excitement of new parenthood and to strengthen community solidarity through social municipalism. Residents of Karşıyaka can apply for this free service via the municipality’s official website.
