Karyatida! play begins summer tour across Greece

The satirical comedy play ‘Karyatida!’, written by Giorgos Kapoutzidis and directed by Katerina Mavrogeorgi, is embarking on a summer tour across Greece following two successful years of performances.

The play explores Greek reality through sharp humor and political satire, centering on the return of a ‘lost sixth Caryatid’. It depicts the intersection of national emotion and political paranoia, portraying the country's tendency to turn grand moments into farcical spectacles.

Scheduled performances include August 27 at the Patras Municipal Summer Theater and August 28 at the ‘G. Pappas’ theater in Aigio. The production features a cast including Asimina Anastasopoulou, Stelios Iakovidis, and Stelios Xanthoudakis, among others.
