Karytaina Holds Fourth Art Festival Featuring Over 60 Amateur Artists

The 4th Art Festival will take place in the historic streets of Karytaina on 15‑16 August, running each evening from 19:00 to 22:00. More than sixty amateur painters, photographers, sculptors, chefs, puppeteers and musicians will display works and performances throughout the old market area.

The event is organized by the cultural association Koinon Karutinon and supported by the Municipality of Megalopolis, the Karutinon Athens‑Piraeus association, and local sponsor UNIMAC AE. Free outdoor workshops in painting and cooking for children will be offered during the festival. On 17 August 2026, painter Konstantinos Kalentzis will lead an open‑air interactive seminar titled “The Language of Visual Art,” open to all art‑enthusiasts.

All activities, workshops and the seminar are free to the public.
