Kasabian headlines Leeds Festival's first Thursday slot

Kasabian made history as the first band to headline the Leeds Festival on a Thursday night. Performing on the revamped main stage, now known as ‘The Grid’, the Leicester-based band delivered a set featuring many of their most recognizable tracks.

The opening night of the festival also featured performances by Arkayla, who opened the stage, and The Lathums, who performed a set including songs such as ‘The Great Escape’ and ‘How Beautiful Life Can Be’. Despite earlier heavy rain at Bramham Park, the headline sets remained dry despite threats of thunderstorms.
