Kasabian to release ninth studio album ‘Act III’ on September 4

The British band Kasabian is set to release their ninth studio album, titled ‘Act III’, on September 4. The new record marks a return to the band’s signature blend of rhythm, psychedelia, and electronic music.

Produced by Serge Pizzorno and Mark Ralph, the album was recorded at The Sergery and Club Ralph. It features ten tracks and three interludes. The current lineup consists of Pizzorno, Chris Edwards, Ian Matthews, and Tim Carter.

This release follows a period of transition for the Leicester-based group after the departure of former singer Tom Meighan in 2020. Pizzorno, who has served as the band’s primary songwriter, has taken on a larger role, including vocals, to lead the group through its latest musical chapter.
