Kash Patel engaged to country singer Alexis Wilkins
FBI Director Kash Patel and country singer Alexis Wilkins have announced their engagement. The couple shared the news on social media on Sunday, October 4, 2026, with Wilkins posting a black-and-white photo of her diamond ring and the caption, “Went and got the law involved.”
Patel, 46, and Wilkins, 27, reportedly met in Nashville in 2022 and began dating in early 2023. Wilkins, a country music artist and political commentator, has been a visible supporter of Patel, attending his swearing-in ceremony in February 2025.
The announcement comes amid ongoing scrutiny regarding Patel’s use of government resources. Critics have questioned his use of FBI aircraft for trips that appeared to lack a clear law enforcement purpose, including a flight to Pennsylvania for a professional wrestling event where Wilkins performed the national anthem. Patel has defended his actions and dismissed attacks against Wilkins as “disgustingly baseless.”
