Kashi Rudras defeat Gaur Gorakhpur Lions in UP T20 League

Defending champions Kashi Rudras secured their second consecutive victory in Season 4 of the UP T20 League, defeating the Gaur Gorakhpur Lions by 15 runs at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.

Kashi Rudras skipper Karan Sharma led the team to a total of 194/6. Despite a middle-order collapse that left the team at 88/5 by the 10th over, Sharma scored an unbeaten 92 runs off 48 deliveries, including nine sixes. His performance earned him the tournament’s Orange Cap with 161 runs across three matches.

In response, the Gaur Gorakhpur Lions struggled against the Kashi bowling attack. After an early dismissal of captain Aryan Juyal, spinner Vijay Yadav removed two batters to leave the Lions at 50/3. Although a 55-run partnership between Siddharth Yadav and Prince Yadav attempted to stabilize the chase, Karan Sharma and Vaibhav Chaudhary took key wickets to secure the win for the Rudras.
