Kashima Antlers defeated Atletico Suzuka 3-0 in the second round of the Emperor's Cup at Mercari Stadium. Despite a difficult first half where they struggled to break through Suzuka's defense, Kashima secured the victory with three goals in the second half.

Kaito Chida opened the scoring early in the second half with a half-volley. Marko Chavric later extended the lead with a penalty kick, and Leo Seara scored the final goal in the 90th minute.

Notably, official records from the JFA confirmed that Kashima achieved a “perfect game” during the match, as they did not allow Atletico Suzuka a single shot on goal throughout the 90 minutes. Kashima utilized a rotated lineup for the match, including several players making their professional debuts.
