Kashima Antlers secured their third consecutive victory in the AFC Champions League (ACL) Elite league stage with a 3-0 win against Pohang Steelers. The match, held at Kashima Soccer Stadium, saw goals from Ryota Koike in the 59th minute, followed by strikes from Crovattic in the 75th minute and Matheus Bueno in the 88th minute.

Kashima's performance marks a strong start to the tournament, with the team recording 11 goals and conceding only one across their opening three matches. Notably, 17-year-old defender Shoto Undamba made his Asian debut starting in a defensive midfield role. Leo Seara also returned to the squad as a substitute after missing the previous match due to injury.
