Kashmir IGP Sujit Kumar warns students against drugs and online traps

Kashmir Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sujit Kumar has issued a warning to students regarding the dangers of drugs, online betting, and social media traps. Speaking at a function organized by Tyndale Biscoe and Mallinson schools, Kumar urged the younger generation to resist the temptation of instant gratification and shortcuts to success.

Kumar advised students to place their trust in parents, teachers, and coaches to navigate future challenges. He cautioned that harmful online activities, including fraud and betting, act as traps that can derail a student's future. The IGP emphasized the importance of discipline and the role of Kashmir’s cultural heritage in guiding youth toward responsible citizenship.
