Kashus Culpepper releases jazz-influenced Apple Music Sessions

Alabama-born singer-songwriter Kashus Culpepper has released a new Apple Music Sessions featuring three jazz-influenced tracks. The session includes reimagined versions of his songs ‘Jenni’ and ‘Out Of My Mind,’ alongside a cover of the Isley Brothers’ 1959 classic ‘Shout,’ performed with Charles Wesley Godwin and Wyatt Flores.

The new arrangements utilize horns and a prominent rhythm section to highlight Culpepper’s diverse musical influences, ranging from soul and blues to jazz. This release follows his debut album ‘Act I’ and its companion ‘Act I: Summer Nights.’

In addition to the musical release, Culpepper has been announced as a performer for the C2C Festival, scheduled for March 12–14 across London, Manchester, and Glasgow.
