Kasikornbank upgrades K PLUS to global wealth platform

Kasikornbank (KBANK) is upgrading its K PLUS application into a comprehensive Global Wealth Platform. Tripon Phumiwsana, CIO of K WEALTH, stated that Thai investors are increasingly moving toward “Global Wealth Management,” prioritizing diversification across different assets, industries, and regions to mitigate domestic economic risks.

The platform aims to facilitate direct investment in US dollars (USD), which remains a primary currency for global transactions and assets such as US stocks and government bonds. Through K PLUS Global Savings, users can exchange currency and invest in international mutual funds and gold to reduce transaction costs and manage volatility.

In a related industry development, Pi Securities (Pi Private Wealth) held a seminar focused on navigating investment portfolios in the AI era for the second half of 2026. The discussion highlighted the role of artificial intelligence in driving the global economy and the necessity for investors to adjust strategies to balance long-term returns with the volatility associated with the digital economy.
