Kaspa and Sui implement major network and security upgrades
Kaspa and Sui have implemented significant technical upgrades to their respective networks. Kaspa’s Toccata hard fork introduced smart contract functionality and KRC-20 token support, while its network speed has increased to 10 blocks per second. Despite these technical advancements and a market capitalization of approximately $700 million, Kaspa’s price remains significantly lower than its previous peak valuation.
Sui has integrated support for two NIST-approved post-quantum signature schemes, allowing users to migrate toward quantum-resistant security. Sui is currently trading around $0.69 with an estimated market cap of $2.8 billion, though investors are monitoring a scheduled token unlock in September.
BlockDAG is preparing for its main network launch with a Stage 1 price of $0.002. The project is developing a Super App intended to integrate mobile mining, a multi-asset wallet, staking, and real-world card spending functionality, alongside a dedicated exchange known as BlockDAGX.
