Kasper Asgreen joins NSN Cycling Team

Danish classics specialist Kasper Asgreen has signed a two-year contract with the Swiss-licensed NSN Cycling Team, joining the squad in 2027. Asgreen, 31, arrives from EF Education-EasyPost.

Asgreen, a former winner of the Tour of Flanders, is expected to take on a dual role within the team. He will serve as a key leader in one-day classics while also utilizing his experience to mentor and support younger riders. NSN Cycling Team General Manager Kjell Carlström praised Asgreen’s versatility and aggressive racing style, noting his ability to compete in breakaways, time trials, and on cobblestone courses.

The transfer follows recent recruitment activity by NSN, which also recently announced the signing of Colombian climber Santiago Buitrago. Asgreen is currently recovering from a shoulder injury sustained during the Renewi Tour.
