Kaspersky launches AI Protect and hosts security forum in Guangzhou

Kaspersky held its “Reshaping AI Security” event and Technical Alliance (TA) Forum in Guangzhou, focusing on the evolving landscape of cybersecurity in the age of artificial intelligence. During the event, the company officially launched Kaspersky AI Protect, a new product designed to provide adaptive defense against modern digital threats.

Experts at the forum highlighted that cybersecurity is shifting from traditional rule-based confrontation to a battle of intelligent agents. Key discussions addressed emerging risks such as prompt injection and large language model (LLM) data leaks. Kaspersky's research indicated that the Asia-Pacific region has become a central hub for cyberattacks, with manufacturing and IT services being primary targets.

The Technical Alliance aims to foster an ecosystem of collaborative defense. By offering SDK tools, threat intelligence, and model protection, Kaspersky intends to integrate security capabilities into various sectors, including cloud, industrial scenarios, and DevSecOps, to combat AI-driven threats like autonomous ransomware and high-fidelity phishing.
