Kaspersky launches Cyber Risk Heatmap tool for businesses

Kaspersky has launched the Cyber Risk Heatmap, a free online assessment tool designed to help businesses evaluate their cybersecurity posture. The tool utilizes a questionnaire that takes approximately 10 minutes to complete, allowing organizations to identify vulnerabilities across six critical risk areas: people and endpoints, mail and network, cloud and workloads, attack surface, monitoring and analysis, and incident management.

Based on the responses, the tool generates a personalized heatmap illustrating potential risk levels in each area alongside an overall risk score. Users can download a customized PDF report containing assessment results and practical recommendations to prioritize future security initiatives. Kaspersky notes that this tool is intended as a high-level assessment rather than a technical audit and does not replace penetration tests or formal vulnerability assessments.
