Kassel police investigate stone-throwing incident on pedestrian bridge

Police in Kassel are investigating an incident in the Niederzwehren district where two children allegedly threw stones from a pedestrian bridge onto a moving vehicle. The incident occurred around 7:00 PM on a Sunday on Altenbaunaer Straße.

The driver of a Cupra Ateca reported seeing two children on a bridge near the Thielenäcker road just before several large stones struck her vehicle, causing approximately 500 euros in damage. When the driver stopped, the two boys, described as being approximately eight years old, roughly 1.40 meters tall, and slim with dark skin and black hair, fled toward nearby fields.

Authorities are investigating the matter as dangerous interference with road traffic and property damage. Police are seeking witnesses who may have information regarding the identity of the children.
