Kassi Ashton releases new single ‘Chrome Pony’

Country singer-songwriter Kassi Ashton has released her new single, ‘Chrome Pony’. The track was co-written by Ashton alongside Ryan Beaver and Jared Keim.

Ashton describes the song as an anthem of empowerment and resilience, following her previous 2026 releases ‘Bitches’ and ‘Bratmobile’. The release is part of a creative period focused on themes of overcoming adversity.

The single is accompanied by an animated music video created by London-based director and animator Alice Bloomfield. The video features an animated version of Ashton as a sword-wielding faerie riding a Pegasus to battle demons.

Ashton is currently working on her second studio album with producers Oscar Charles and Luke Laird. Her next scheduled performance is at Drake White’s Loblolly Festival in Gadsden, Alabama, on October 17.
