Kassio Nunes Marques' residence in Brasília hit by fire
A fire broke out at the residence of Kassio Nunes Marques, President of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) and Justice of the Supreme Federal Court (STF), in the Lago Sul region of Brasília on Sunday night.
The incident was caused by a gas leak from a cylinder connected to an oven located in the external area of the home. The flames subsequently reached the property's acrylic roof. The Military Fire Brigade of the Federal District was dispatched at 6:54 PM and managed to control the fire in approximately 40 minutes.
Minister Nunes Marques and his wife were inside the residence at the time of the incident, but no injuries were reported. The TSE press office stated the fire appeared to be accidental.
