Kastamonu hosts Hanbok fashion show to promote South Korean culture

The ‘Hanbok Engraved in Time’ fashion show was held at the Rıfat Ilgaz Cultural Center in Kastamonu to promote South Korean culture. The event featured collections of both traditional and modern Hanbok, showcasing the nation's 500-year-old clothing heritage.

Supported by the North Anatolian Development Agency (KUZKA), the Kastamonu Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism, and the Kastamonu Provincial Representation of the Korean Association of Turkey, the program included cultural presentations and musical performances. A choir performed a repertoire of both Turkish and Korean songs to highlight the cultural ties between the two nations.

Sang Won Kim, President of the Kastamonu Korean Association, expressed pride in promoting Korean culture and stated that the event aims to strengthen cultural bonds and cooperation between Turkey and South Korea.
