Kastamonu road paving improves accessibility in Taşköprü

The Kastamonu Special Provincial Administration has completed asphalt paving on roads in the Taşköprü district, specifically benefiting the residents of Köçekli and Küçüksu villages.

In Köçekli village, the transition from a stabilized road to asphalt has significantly improved mobility for Görkem Öztürk, a resident with a physical disability who uses an electric wheelchair. Öztürk noted that the previous road conditions caused frequent difficulties, and the new surface allows for much easier travel.

Mustafa Gürpınar, the headman of Köçekli village, expressed gratitude for the project, noting that the improved infrastructure will benefit school shuttle services and residents traveling from abroad, while reducing vehicle damage caused by potholes.
