Kasumi Mori holds press event for debut beauty book

Kasumi Mori, a former TV Tokyo announcer and current freelance personality, held a press conference in Tokyo to celebrate the release of her first beauty book, ‘How to Create Strategic Cuteness — Kasumi Mori’s Intelligent Beauty Methods’. The book, which was scheduled for reprint even before its official release, details 77 specific methods covering makeup, skincare, body makeup, and mindset.

Mori highlighted the importance of the body makeup section, noting she wrote detailed instructions so readers could easily replicate her techniques. During the event, she appeared in a nude beige silk dress and discussed her personal views on marriage and family.

Addressing a recent incident where she was a victim of pickpocketing in Rome, Italy, Mori shared that she chose to maintain a positive mindset by ‘forgetting’ the incident and enjoying a panini shortly after securing her safety. She noted that focusing on happiness is a key part of her personal beauty philosophy.
