Kasumi Mori stars in debut film ‘Tenten: Do You Plan to Stay Single Forever?’

Kasumi Mori has made her film debut in the ensemble drama ‘Tenten: Do You Plan to Stay Single Forever?’, which began exclusive streaming on Prime Video on October 23. The film is a sequel to the 2021 production based on the manga by Mari Okazaki, featuring an original story written by Takehiko Minato and directed by Yuko Hakoda.

The story follows three single individuals of different ages and backgrounds as they navigate their lives and search for their own sense of belonging. Mori portrays Misaki Yamada, a 30-year-old woman who has navigated life through charm without a clear sense of purpose or passion.

Newly released footage highlights a pivotal scene where Yamada confronts her partner, Kaoru, after discovering his infidelity. The scene depicts an emotional breakdown as Yamada expresses the weight of her sacrifices, exclaiming, “For a woman, the years from 28 to 30 are worth ten years!” This confrontation serves as a turning point for her character, prompting her to reconsider her life and future goals.
