Kataller Toyama wins Levain Cup match and launches regional tourism initiative

Kataller Toyama secured a 2-1 victory against Tegevajaro Miyazaki in the first round of the Levain Cup. Despite conceding an early goal due to defensive errors, Yuki Nakajima equalized, and captain Tsubasa Yoshihira scored the winning goal. The team now prepares for a second-round match against J1 side Urawa Reds on the 29th.

Following the victory, Kataller Toyama President Osamu Hidemi announced a new business initiative called ‘Toyamaru Ticket’ aimed at regional revitalization. The service features a digital map connecting fans with local restaurants, tourism, and experiences in Toyama Prefecture. By allowing supporters to pre-pay for dining and attractions, the club aims to integrate visiting fans—particularly the growing number of away supporters—into the local economy.

A portion of the ticket revenue will be returned to the club to fund team strengthening. The club targets a total sales volume of 300 million yen by its second year of operation, positioning the professional sports club as a hub for the regional economy.
