Kate Beckinsale sparks fan concern with cryptic Instagram posts

Actress Kate Beckinsale has caused concern among followers after clearing her Instagram photo archive and posting cryptic messages. The posts included a black image with the word “bye” and an Instagram Story featuring a rainbow with the text, “Congratulations. You won. I give up.”

Both posts were subsequently deleted. Beckinsale also updated her profile bio to include a link to a BBC article regarding the 2020 suicide of British television presenter Caroline Flack.

This follows a previous instance in August when the actress wiped her feed in response to online criticism regarding her physical appearance. At that time, she attributed her weight loss to bereavement following the deaths of her mother and stepfather, as well as her diagnosis of mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS).
