Kate Hudson explains wedding planning delays with fiancé Danny Fujikawa

Actress Kate Hudson has shared the reasons why she and fiancé Danny Fujikawa have not yet married, despite being engaged since September 2021. Speaking on the ‘Sibling Revelry’ podcast hosted with her brother, Oliver Hudson, the 47-year-old actress cited the complexities of wedding planning as a primary deterrent.

One major challenge is the guest list. Hudson noted that while Fujikawa prefers a small, intimate ceremony, her own family is so large that even immediate relatives number approximately 50 people. She joked about the difficulty of managing a massive list of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Additionally, Hudson expressed concerns regarding the high costs associated with traditional weddings. She humorously suggested she would prefer a simple celebration featuring only snacks like ‘chips and salsa’ rather than an expensive event. The couple, who have been together since 2016 and share a daughter, Rani Rose, continue to navigate these logistical and financial considerations.
