Prince Harry and Meghan Markle condemn photographers monitoring children's school
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have condemned the behavior of international photographers who were observed monitoring the perimeter of their children’s school in the United Kingdom. A spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex described the incident as an “extraordinarily reckless” and “unacceptable intrusion into the privacy of children.”
Security personnel and school staff reported seeing two men with backpacks circling the school grounds and looking into the premises. Police later identified one of the men as a photographer for a European press agency and linked the group to a rented white van. This incident follows the family’s recent relocation to the UK from California and a previous school change necessitated by security and commuting concerns.
The Sussexes are currently awaiting a review from the UK Home Office regarding their eligibility for taxpayer-funded police protection. Reports suggest the couple may consider returning to the United States if their request for enhanced security is denied. Meanwhile, the couple has maintained their $14.5 million Montecito estate in California, and a former temporary residence in Beverly Hills has been listed for sale by Tyler Perry.
