Kate Middleton Highlights Cancer Advocacy with Royal Engagements in London and Manchester

Princess Kate and King Charles attended a reception at St. James’s Palace in London to mark the 125th anniversary of Cancer Research UK. The event, which included Queen Camilla and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, emphasized the monarchs’ personal connections to cancer after both disclosed diagnoses in 2024, and showcased the charity’s work on prevention, diagnosis and treatment.

A few days later, Kate made a solo visit to The Christie cancer centre in Manchester, meeting patients and expressing emotion at their stories. The trip underscored her continued public duties and commitment to cancer research and patient support following her own successful treatment and remission.

Both appearances demonstrate the Princess of Wales’s ongoing advocacy for cancer causes and her role in raising public awareness of the disease in the United Kingdom.
